  The banking account info contract exists only to guarantee cancellation funds. In many cases across Canada, even if you give them enough time to cancel your membership, they will act as though they didn't hear you. Then, if you try to call the head office, you get the run around forever and end up having to close your bank account because they keep taking money out of your account. Goodlife is a racket that thrives on bank account contracts that ultimately screw you. It is $90 a month without a year contract. In other words, they make you pay double to get out of their bank account contract scam. The Summit Centre in Mount Pearl does not do the bank account scam, you just pay as you go and because of this it is the better option. Go research Goodlife Fitness reviews, it is horror story after horror story. Never give your banking information because if you do, you have a difficult time getting out of it. They don't have to answer you if you call, and if you ask to talk to a manager at the head office they say "We don't escalate calls here." Case in point, Goodlife is a criminal scam corporation.

  One of the better goodlifes in the city. I like the staff, the cardio and free weights, and the green area. A good addition would be a hack squat machine. Good class schedule and large, well lit space. Women's only section is very lacking.

  It's gone a little downhill the past couple years with new management. They keep moving everything around. The stretching equipment is in the middle of the elliptical and other cardio equipment instead of the upstairs part of the gym, making it more uncomfortable to use, which is terrible for people with anxiety or low self-esteem. I still enjoy going there at times but I don't go as much as I used to and I'm looking for other gyms to go to eventually.

  Great gym but they have a min of a year contract. I prefer the summit centre for this reason.

  Great gym and a lot of space. Can be busy at peak hours, though, because the are a lot of classes offered. Seldom enough parking.
